Thanks Marie.
Now moving on with the show.
We have some very nice startups for you.
As you know,
the Copenhagen and Danish tech startup scene is hotter than ever.
In August,
the three biggest investments in the Nordics
above 10 million US dollars were all in Denmark.
And I have another fun fact for you.
Just this week, five startups raised a round.
This is actually extremely positive.
And one of the startups,
one of the guys that actually raised a round this week,
or announced it at least,
is the guy I want to introduce you to now.
Please welcome Jeppe from Pleo.
Thank you, Christopher.
Great to be here tonight.
My name is Jeppe and I want to introduce you to Pleo tonight.
Pleo is the first company card to come with an artificial assistant.
This is Nicolo, my co-founder.
We met a few years back in a company called TradeShift.
We were building financial programs.
But I was also the CFO.
And on that journey,
I learned quite a few things.
I learned that pretty much everything you need
to run a business today is right there in front
of you and accessible with just a few clicks.
Think about it.
Travel, software, hardware, advertising,
hosting, it's all there right in front of you.
I also learned that those kind of purchases
today are becoming more and more complex.
It's no longer just a one-off transaction.
It's now subscriptions that are more complicated to manage.
It's your card being stored for repeat
purchasing on Amazon and stuff like that.
And I learned that as employees,
we walk into the organizations today acting like consumers.
We want to buy the stuff we need.
Like, it's so available.
Why shouldn't we?
Why shouldn't we book our travels?
Why shouldn't we sign up to subscriptions
and manage hosting ourselves as employees?
But
I also learned that sort of managing that whole thing is really,
really hard.
And running decentralized spending
caused a lot of pain in our organization.
Employees were extremely frustrated.
They had to pay out of pocket or rely on shared cards.
They had to file expense reports.
In finance,
we were constantly chasing receipts and trying to figure out,
you know,
who's responsible for which purchase.
And our managers, they were lacking business.
They were lacking behind on being on top
of their budgets and stuff like that.
We thought really hard about that.
And we came up with Playo to address exactly these pain points.
So Playo is the perfect tool for you to delegate your purchasing.
You can allocate a card,
virtual or plastic,
to any employee with literally just a few clicks.
But you can also kind of define which
kind of rights each employee should have.
So exactly the spending limits that your company has.
The spending limits that you're comfortable with to
empower basically any team member with their own card.
Then we push real-time notifications on your phone
so you're aware of when you've done your purchase.
You click on the notification.
And you can instantly snap an image of that receipt.
And that is if we've not been successful in
actually capturing the receipt on our own.
We automatically tag every transaction with the right category.
So if you purchase something on a fuel station,
we'll tag it as transportation.
And everything is right there in the dashboard for you as an employee
or for your manager to be constantly on top of who's buying what at
what time.
And of course,
all of the purchases are connected to your accounting processes.
So this is a very,
very short introduction to Playo.
If you've felt any of these pain points,
please go to Playo.com.
Go to our website.
A few team members here are happy to introduce you to the product.
And thanks for listening.
Thank you, Jeppe.
Next up, we have Mick from Tattoo-do.
Please welcome Mick.
