Accessibility Webinar
The European Accessibility Act has raised the bar for digital experiences. And while most companies think of video as just another channel that needs to be made accessible, we believe the opposite is true: video is accessibility in itself, because video is the most human way to communicate. Join TwentyThree's CTO and co-founder Steffen Fagerström Christensen to learn what the new accessibility requirements mean for your video and webinar setup, and how to turn compliance into a competitive advantage. In this 45-minute session, you'll learn why accessibility matters beyond the legal minimum, how video can make your digital experiences more inclusive, and how TwentyThree supports you with tools like captions, audio descriptions, and accessible players. The session wraps with a live Q&A so you can validate your own compliance and get practical tips for your setup.

Hello everyone and welcome to this Webinars, from ToolFree about accessibility, specifically about Video at VRM. I'm pretty excited to share with them back in June of last year when or recordings from the European Union came out when the EAA became enforceable. And I'll say that We saw a lot of interest back then and then And then, pretty early on, sort of got used to this idea that it's part of how we work. hopefully today will be a bit of a reminder of So of all the things that we really should be doing. to uh or hearing interfaces to all the things that we're doing in R. jobs in our companies, in our organizations. There's a list. the purpose of accessibility and I'm going to say in a lot of cases also the purpose Video,. So... This is Jody. abstract words go together and probably go together pretty well. and hopefully the next few minutes or the next hour probably Now, help sort of enlighten the path they travel together right like how Video, affect accessibility and also how does accessibility Video, help organizations become and versions of themselves or better phases of what they do. So. I'm Steffen, and I'm one of two co-founders here at TrainFree. I've spent the last, or the better part at least, of the past two decades spilling various Platform,, Webinars, Platform,, little tools for working with various organizations across the web, across many players and some of the tools that we are using today but also I hope that I allow you guys in the audience is used every day to Video, strategies in your companies. There is a lot going on around accessibility. It's one of those things that So, so started popping up maybe five years ago with people having Video, curious questions about But you're approach to it and then simplify over time hopefully you'll get a sense today How can you have an accessibility space? What are the outside pressures facing you? but also how do we practically move to together in the space. There is a side to it Video, is the human side of digital. connotations but there's a data that varies from the antidote to a lot of the I want to say that you're almost besotted by the downsides of digital, the downsides of web. Let me quickly sort of We can easily make a webpage. We can easily... So and that's how you can go into a nice automation system Vino is a way of showing yourself, of telling your stories. of the pure human in that space. And it's not it. It's sort of the... besides if you manage to bring your stories into that realm. and bring humanity into that realm. There is, in a lot of different cases, the way to do that. And that noise is really what we're talking about today. 25 more filming. a lot of different tricks together as a single Platform, allows you to Video, Marketing Webinars,, a power and internal video library in your organization and also record videos from Brownsville alongside with your colleague with them. Personal, video hours and I'm very happy to do so again. but also try to resist the Earth to do so. I just want to say that kind of part of what we're doing is like we're obviously we publish videos and we don't want to be the ones ourselves Actually, I have a tourniquet for people that do that. So our customers are using our products to inaccessible with Video, too much that audiences would blame it on satanic hoc videos, those Notice how this can atroce base and also allows that they don't have a stake in how accessible all of that content becomes. We have a stake in making the tools for it. but I also want to say that it's a joint responsibility between the people that are You're sort of the twirling and the people that are both twirling and that becomes a really productive conversation. This slide that I'm showing you now has a lot of different contexts. It's part of This is a core idea of trying to say that at TwentyThree, actually are committed to upholding the principles of digital inclusion and there are areas not just to sort of Take me back some stages. everyone up with the necessary training and the necessary or documentation as well to really make sure that web accessibility isn't just one of those things that you sort of do something that you succeed with and something that makes for comparing These are your products. and I'm not just highlight that in exactly a month from now We're hosting TwentyThree, Summit,. This is our fourth Summit,, the fourth year of the year. TwentyThree, Summit, will be hosted in Copenhagen, Denmark in DR's concert hall. So Exactly. But the main part of this is not about sort of TwentyThree, and the conference part. It's about the People that are interested in the same things that we are. How Video, conformed to the web? How do we make the best possible accessible players? How do we set up our organizations really well for scaling videos? but also for scaling accessibility around video. At the end of few things more I have a coupon code if you want to join for for tickets but i just want to say that if you are at all interested Video, if you are all interested in meeting the European currency around Video, And if you want to continue. Continue this conversation on accessibility. That's one of your solos. You're in a cradle-hanging on the 8th, TwentyThree,, and 29th. the amazing venue to do that. DO IT One more prerequisite story, another thing that I sort of have a thing to say here is like A bit of sort of like what are we going to be talking about? I will go further about the European Accessibility Act When we started talking about about accessibility Video, and Webinars, That was sort of the driving force of it, that the IAA had come into... enforcement The Hobbit What does it actually mean? how do we not tick the boxes but also how do we use it productively I'll try to do that. competitive advantage so it's taking a different approach to this that isn't just about technical standards Video, actually becomes this kind of glue in the digital world. Practical guide, how do you actually do this? How do you get ready Video,? and then in the end I'll talk a bit about sort of like cycling back maybe to build a VAC confluence of Femme of how you actually audit them. How can between failure, how can you get the checklist to make sure that not only have you Until next Webinars,. So you've done the legwork in order to actually meet the requirements. BOOM away if you have questions feel free to post them in the in the questions tab I usually fill in the points so up here right so there's a tab that says questions click that one or sorry, there's a box that says questions, click that one, type in your question. and we'll fill them along the way as well. Alright. That's it Where is the European Accessibility App? Well, first of all, it came into effect in June of last year. so it is a European directive that's aimed at basically setting a baseline for accessibility for people with all kinds of disabilities and it's a core accessibility requirements that are set out across the EU and it came into enforcement we're going to go in June last year for those businesses that are acting in the EU. So if you are a web professional, and I hope you are, You have absolutely... heard the kind of the I currently am in the area and someone will have asked me what I'm doing in this space. It's more sort of understanding how this came into being. So the era was It was initially proposed in 2011, so actually a long time ago. and at that in 2019. So it's sort of about this kind of slow simmer of legislations that were given trying to increase the basic bassline for how digital services, that's obviously your web pages, but might also be your apps or... Accessibility accessible for people with with disabilities and it is always the part of this kind of broader European effort for for inclusion and it ties into a lot of the purpose of the EU in terms of having this kind of inter-market that access one where the various foundations in those 2nd M.R. And the same for everyone that acts within the economic zone. In 2nd, we'll start talking about more acronyms. We'll talk about the WCAG, and we'll have Double A's and single A's and triple A's Let's start with the big one that's called poor. um, the rest of a technical approach to accessibility, more of this sense of what does it actually mean for a digital service, or indeed anything. to be like or any of us really have. When we're hearing impaired or visually impaired different ways or just using services So the requirement for true accessibility of a digital service and beyond is for that service to be perceivable. Can I actually, well, see it, hear it? Is it operable? Can I use it? Can I go to a click-dance or two laps? Is it understandable? Can I understand it from the context that it's in, from where I'm perceiving it? and is it robust for the use case that I'm in. You can see that all of these terms sort of like you think about WOM- How is my web page perceived? This might be about... color contrast and size of fonts Is it operable? Can I use it with assistive technology? Is it understandable? Am I communicating in the right language? Accessing from different kind of device. I Before is it understandable, it's very understandable if I'm hearing impaired. I'm sorry I said verbost, right? So the first cycle of the internet when I started building from the different browsers they all had their different quirks and we always had this idea of and it's tested in a lot of different browsers and honestly by today that they're also some of the singular unit that they usually behave. roughly the same way, but we step into the sphere of accessibility that's no longer the case. people use different Versions, different kinds of browsers, different devices, and robustness suddenly becomes challenging again. So, each of these principles, so I showed them in Christianity for different multi-types and it basically ends up allying with some of the more technical standards. but it's important to all it's always more fun to talk to kids This echoing in my head with a specific color contrast and how does that color contrast work in this particular, all that kind of stuff. that we quickly get into, but we talk about web accessibility. What's up guys? is the thing that I'm shaping whether Video, not. Perceivable, operable, understandable and robust. The area has an extremely wide application area. Um, the- However, European Union directives or initiatives The sort of title of a financial industry or... specific industries within the economic zone. But then, or applies to any organization that provides products or sources to create shares in the EU. So it... enterprise to b2c businesses and b2c businesses basically with format yoru CONTROL IN THE EU? NO Yara covered it. Well, this legislation, as I say, applies to you and to your business. It's always done so B2B services will be affected if they're part of AAM. of a supply chain for consumer services. The key sectors being titled here are pretty broad. It means that If you're doing e-commerce, if you're doing transportation, if you're doing banking, if you're doing telecommunications, Oh my gosh, I'm in here. mostly they're very digital services that ultimately apply to one to occurs in the ear so this is sort of ask to step up and provide accessible tooling. So it's products and services that are offered as banking Platform, passenger trench Video, streaming. you can see all these cases where it's hard actually to find a coverage where you're exempt from the EAA. When we start talking about compliance and legislation, it's important to say that there's part of things that are about practice. So what are the things we do? How do we implement? these specific guidelines in In the EU, but also the requirements for documentation. So businesses should not only sort of Do all the things that they're required to do. But there is a requirement also to publish accessibility statements and establish feedbacks for user accounts and materials. So, the technical documentation that improves conformance to the standard. This is an important part as you sort of go around that. In a lot of cases, it's always important that whatever that you close caption Video, that you have all the descriptions for Video, some of those things that we'll talk about in 2nd It's also important to make sure that This is a duty statement on your web pages available. have actually seen a lot of this more. Devotation to Confluence but also ways of establishing user feedback. The static cloud EN 41549 that's the European harmonized standard And this is because there are a lot of different standards that apply if you do hardware devices for example like the AM. the checklist that you might be subject to will be slightly different so There is a European standard for what it means to actually live up to the accessibility requirements. F- No way in hell I'm a printer for life. What are some of the conversations that you're having if you... to UM. If you work in The end of the story, see you soon. 2.2 How are you? STAY HOT which covers the web and digital services. So... You probably have heard the around in a lot of in a lot of cases. So... Thoughts about this kind of checklist, I'll show you a few in 2nd, but... the WCG is basically about an accessible web so it talks to sort of like How does text work in the browser? How does the infrastructure, how does navigation work? How does the medium work in the context of Awesome. for GoodPatch. And, you know, And your own website's also kind of eco-split, potentially more mobile. mobile apps and sort of all the different digital services and It basically requires accessible, structural, readable content, navigable interfaces, sort of on these keyboards and It also wait for making sure that whatever you build in this sphere support assistive sorry such as screen readers And then we go back to sort of the for run away through all the acronyms until the intro to to uh to our domestic compliance standards And so that's sort of like what does this actually mean, right? So this is the actual standard that's going to be at. Don't you think that... of this particular document that you can The WCG standards establishes a set of success criterion for the stuff that you're publishing and it establishes a few different base lines that's a level a which is the easiest to take up to a mile There are additional requirements if you want to reach the levels of W or ultra Evil aim. There are several versions of this that is about kind of taking F4 versions or the different goals or success criteria in a document like this one. actually blow them into sort of like what are the requirements of me as a product or what are the requirements if I'm a developer or what are the requirements that I should be aware of if I'm a content editor so much tries to Bleh the different success stories and make them the responsibility of So, of- It's different. different roles to sort of have more of a checklist and this becomes more of a So if we're buying perceivable or robust and that poor standard actually becomes a checklist that you can start looking at. The accessible Webinars, kind of a game-text-structured navigation media. P- Part of this, and this is part of the WCAG standards as well, That is a bad accessible video. So when we start talking about accessible Video, still the same sound principles that apparently you can talk much more about. players you'll talk about closed captions you'll start talking about alternatives Video, So What the status of recording when you look Video,? Yes, I captions, well, audio descriptions, accessible controls, sort of all those things that applies the poor standards to to Video, player. Man. There are players which for example be usable via keyboard and scroll readers And if you have time-based media, to film it. Hi, I'm Sam. close counts potentially I'm just gonna of your products. So, the long keywords, and this is where we start to kind of move on from the well, from the European space into just Video, space. If you have questions, make sure to post them. All that kind of stuff. We'll get back to that. back to them in 2nd as well. Now, next up, though, I want to talk about value as being your edge in accessibility because accessibility is the... Just about Video, player access. In fact, I would say this is an old-fashioned practice that requires that you I'll just sort of post plan after a Video, been made. That's a lot. the parts that you could do when Avila was over. Avila has been made and uploaded to Platform, when you're trying to make it accessible. The OECD and other organizations career education and practices available in an accessible manner actually is that you're planning to do like Video, So it requires more play around all the different efforts to make sure that those Video, being made And... For practical purposes, we tend to sort of... um, the shit between the technical accessibility, that's what we just spoke about right there, the checkbox and the, uh, um, the televised media, it's the, uh, the contrast colors in your players, all of those kind of things that are important in order to meet the standards. But part of accessibility is also organizational. accessibility so it's not about just making Video, accessible However, it's about making sure that your organization becomes accessible through or Video, a few examples of that could be. So we can show that they are actually being made from From public events, from the school boards, from the town halls and the press conferences you do. Happy updates of the guides or emergency alerts like all those different things that tailored to just fall into or into just text or into physical readings that aren't accessible just because they happen in a room somewhere. making it accessible actually requires that you accessible online as well. That's all out of context for civic education. just like standard education. Obviously, there were workshops being held in the universe for instead So what happens in real world worlds can all become really exciting through recording and through planning them. and making them available Video,. And the same thing goes for of the most touching and peculiar and guys, you will find any of those assets that are existing in organizations whether for internal or external consumption. And And... quickly, you can see how people can actually kind of Rome is the shittiest part of that internalization. I want to highlight your audience. but obviously also about giving access to that content to make that content. So that's a sneak peek at this split between organizational accessibility and the technical accessibility. and I'm very urching to sort of feed about of this one so i'll just fall into the trap that we i can show you next slide so this is the trap right This is the trap where Stephen would have said, hey, it's really important that you consider not only how you make Video, accessible, Rather how you make all the things you do accessible through text and media and all that kind of stuff but certainly Video, And in 2nd I'll turn to the technical accessibility. So I want to talk more on organizational accessibility. at least for a while It is as important as anything else. that all this stuff is actually living up to the EAA. Alright, let's hope. then you can sort of be split into the pre-production and the and very fast that you're making But I'm not sure about that. dialogue in Video, that's at a level that your audience will understand. It's sort of a... and And Get excited about something that you've heard before. in the context of just Video,. support interaction with the keyboard. But it's a crucial part of making sure that your content is it's being made available and that's a bunch of content that uh of the coordinates that are tied to alternative content and also to the technical parts of Video, player. I'm such a You're toast. perspective Video, accessibility where you want to be more making sure that you are blog is accessible for viewing and Video, For the last time but that you impress ensure that you have all the relevant information that might be relevant to an order in citizen presence, then it's actually recalled. Now, make sure, as I said before, that that your audience will understand. small parts but also crucial parts of the standards that that you are producing. So a good example of that would be that having ...flashes in Video, of more than three times 2nd. and they show that the contrast in the actual video being produced is sufficiently high against text and language Platform, and all those kind of things to be perceivable by the users and make sure that there's a low back one noise and recording small or planning for Video, to be produced. As I said, The use of content has probably rocked you with of accessibility. So, when we show the text equivalents of all of that are synchronized, show you track so this is basically captions that happened along the way The requirement is also to have owner descriptions. So owner descriptions can be described as the reverse where Captions for the LLM important for The author's description is the opposite. It's making sure that All the things that are happening in the Video, in I would describe audibly as well as visually. So, it's sort of the leadership that describes the visual details of Video,. Initially, at least until 2013. with some of those cues and we'll have them. Hey Clips be switched in as audio within Video, if you turn on all the descriptions There are accessibility requirements, I forgot here if there are A's and AA's Those are required by the EA. but the treble Aon isn't so. So, for text alternatives, it's a requirement to achieve that level to have accurate text equivalents of Video, that you provide so that will be heavy transcript alongside Video, and in carrying on the There's also requirement to have sign language interpretation as a track that's synchronized with Video, stream. So Always alternative content is important. Excellent. I'll come back in 2nd to how you actually do that within Video, platform specifically TwentyThree,. from this one And also make sure that your plaque experience is accessible. so is making sure that the player that you're using are living up to these guidelines that no one controls a keyboard frame Exactly. that there are no keyboard traps in the player basic controls even if you are in a using assistive technology like a scroller, plug and play and pulse and control volume and so on. How to play videos with audio on page load? and that you do assure your viewers have the latest technology. That last part is actually pretty crucial. and because what happened for a lot of screen readers and a lot of assistive technologies is that Top of the M Son of a... Process that. most audiences will use sort of using the very latest piece of technology that might not be updated as frequently. as the standard web browser so we are going to show you how to show updates from audiences is very crucial here. Like with them at war or something. Off the record, that's okay. I'll place you into sort of like asking the questions. What should I really be expecting from Video, platform? BRO First of all, I'm a pleasure to provide a presentation that's the basic video control style, right? Everything that we said before about having Stuff better accessible from the keyboard. Tracy things with advertising, not the And do all the pledges for the sake of it. All of those things are crucially important. Platform, is provided there with low balls and sufficient target sizes and certainly with the sufficient color contrast for readability, perceivability, and Platform, is also provided with a playlist. part of the standard to make sure that there's responsive workflows and supports orientation switches in in your devices. Platform, must provide a player that supports captions and audio descriptions. I cannot say this 200 if you enter, you will go through the video has you sort of like using different channels Fusing those transcriptions into Video,. You might even have two different videos with different... with solid captions, all that kind of stuff. When you're sort of Like making a... about choices and ultimately go against what the accessible content should be. And... Christian. they're in at the support center, you're very going to be expecting from the the tools for your manager to publish Thanks Welcome or just having the ability to upload your captions but actually generating those captions on Platform, and it's publishing the captions on Platform,. and support all my descriptions again crucial part how easy Yes, sir. on Platform, that you're using to make for Yes sir. what you should be expecting. Amen. Okay, I will. Like I am. I'm more than exactly TwentyThree, green, but but it's close enough, right? I'm going to be a... Pitch Guide for training free. We do all these things. That's obviously... part of why we're so keenly interested in in proclinic sphere If you're not using TwentyThree, mean, whatever, but also You're willing to make sure that this checklist holds for Platform, that you're using. Otherwise, you're further losing battle. Like you might be able to reach the requirements you need. So make sure that this tick mark, that it lives up to all the requirements, that you can publish alternative content in a way that works for you. And then knowing for ways of... publishing those with all the tools you need in order to get there. So I want to say that this is not TwentyThree, thing, this is just about making sure that you have the tools that you need. in order to publish accessible content. That's it. let's switch a bit more into guide mode here right that's how i actually get rid of Video, we like to talk about some of the tooling that allows you to actually publish accessible content. But we'll get to that in a short while. Toy free is for everyone. and we are striving to be Ask them. as accessible as possible to conform to these standards and to read the expectations in the Dell AWCA GA 2.1 studies and also the European Accessibility Act. I ...practice and documentation. And there's a crucial part of it that's worth saying. ...turning for how you practice accessible video. And we are also tuned for how you practice documentation of that accessibility. So hospitals. free.com accessibility they will find a lot of that documentation a lot of the guidelines for for how to run accessible video. Specifically, we found our accessibility So this is basically how a Twitter report lets companies host videos and Webinars, for the customers, for the players, Video, 2nd, the Webinars, hops, all the things that we do. you do and specifically go down the line to say hey, how do we support all of the different success criteria? of the LCAG G, single A and double A. success criteria standards. So. This is a podcast. one on your arm at subhub.blogin in the chat, walk it down. And BMP Making sure that you have access to make that part of the transition. that you enjoy all the pages because it actually is and then you see to make sure that you held up to the expectations and the requirements from the European Union. Alright. but also how we do all these different things. So in another place, ...of accessibility standards for keyboard users, color contrast, video controls and autoplay... and we have wide browser support. We've been doing this stuff for the last, as I said. of two decades and they do a lot to make sure that they're not just four. No problem, it's Chrome. Actually we have VideoDays, that now work across multiple devices, multiple browsers, multiple Platform,. and I also have the necessary training to make sure that alternative content such as captions and audio descriptions I surfaced alongside those players. Keith Texas and Vincent Smaller when we start talking about. assistive technology this idea that you can actually navigate page without the use of a mouse. but also that you can have impact There Video, on those pages and I fully instill a Kibble trap that will keep the the focus for everyone. our audiences to interact with Video, and Webinars, content using the keyboard. So that's really quite important. It's something that is out of the box. but it's also a hard-won feature and something that we're really proud of making sure that that we live up to. I watch spoilers across So, truthfully, it will almost do it in Jesus. So Tch. to access user data and assistive technologies of choice. and there's a field that we're pretty dedicated to in how we shape product You can also have requirements in general form. for visual accessibility. So these are some of the check marks that On the 4th on the news, but also for The early pages of RedMirror ask Video, 2nd and something like that. It's sort of out of the box between the three. But Play check marks to make sure that you get from your Platform,. And we're going to show you some of our front tooling. Transcriptions is basically this idea of making you upload Video, or indeed host a Webinars,. that all that content is automatically transcribed into text. So captions and author descriptions are crucial components of inclusivity. And we're fine. You can church-cry various answers. I actually figured 72 different languages. but who's counting. So all I want you to do is take Hello uploader and say I want this ...in Danish and then afterwards in fact you can go and say... well, the English translation should be translated to in addition to where Spanish and Japanese. So... All of these things are crazy. C'mon Video, is or that you want going to publish Video, that you actually already made because You don't have a transcription. All the tooling is there. directly within TwentyThree,. is Sim. the voice note releases this came out with a range of back last summer Then we ship support for for a have transcriptions of webmasters as well so what happens in the Webinars, that you can actually coming from a screwdriver. if you turn transcriptions in your player. you get to See you all later. I've said it, but you'll see translations directly in the room. So this is part of the product and you can make sure that Now where are you? Accessible but also how you live up to the standards. They have a bunch of different practices. I'll come back to the Summit, in 2nd. Accessibility forms So this is where we actually collect all the accessibility gigs of the world. I want it. one into a conversation about accessibility. So this is part of keeping the conversation for the best cases of how people are actually making video accessible This is how we get feedback. for our customers. So, how do I start? All the themes of landing pages video 2nd are accessible by default. that we're shipping VideoDays, and Webinars, rooms that live up to these requirements. and that you have all the time within 24 hours to do all the transcriptions, to do all the All related translations, Video, transcripts, and we also do all our transcriptions on TwentyThree,. So, sort of a comparing and a... a set of tools. I want you to know just the way and publish them in an accessible fashion. And we are here to help. Alright, this is again one of those things that we'll talk about in a lot of different contexts. TwentyThree, we work with the market around us. We are crucial relying on the customers that are having the best practices for it. So part of what we do is we are very proud of of our world leading product. We're really proud of our dedicated team. but also building a currency Video, around all the things that we do So that's a part of having that conversation going. Um, they're both liars too. Hello, Kefib So, that's going really well, but also not doing that well. So please make sure to sort of for take part in the accessibility form if you're really interested in pushing this narrative forward. to them. That's right you win accessibility talks at Summit, and so on. We're also here to support web accessibility audits. I'm on a specialist team. are actually able to help them send an email and start engaging. or for an hour of audit help for free in our specialist team. So people can actually... Well customers can really say, hey how do I actually understand? How are we doing on this accessibility score? and this will give you a pretty good foundation for your eye however your Video, are only transcribed and hold alternative content. update Let's make sure it's the one. Let's make sure that. it's as accessible as it could be. and I'll ask you to follow me on Facebook and Twitter. adjustments for these terms, they are especially seen. So if you sort of The rest of the team will insert. This is a group that we need to do a lot. We might need to implement different practices, but for now I'm going ahead. they reach out and they are happy to help setting up the am of that conversation. Okay, so... The gap between the digital service and the and the show is that The storytelling hopefully gets out, right? You can feel the excitement in... inclusivity and digital inclusion. is actually a correlative, not just between free um so it's not just saying Well... Let's talk about the area because we sort of been... pressure into this. This is a corporate and this is something we should all be supporting. If you want to continue the conversation, and accessibility about the EA. Well, there's a great opportunity in a month for it. TwentyThree, Summit,, as I said before, we are... up this is our fourth year running so we've scaled up every year this is gonna be Yeah, and in the next single year we're gonna be hosting the Summit, at the DR concert hall in in Cologne for a two-day conference with session on keynote. But with courage, there's a way of actually getting to know your peers around you. And where they are facilitated so it is a social not just about to approach those best Webinars, or vectors in the world what are the tips and tricks for how that The practice of storytelling can track audience organisations. But I know it's going to be a good part, so figure it out. how we actually of progressive accessibility agenda and organizations How do we practically do that Video,? So... If you are in Copenhagen or if you live in Copenhagen Column Jonas, we set up a Tcln code for the people that participate in this way. There's a society behind the scenes that actually makes this, not just me standing in a room. room talking to myself which is uh which is Pretty nice. Alright, there's a cluster of questions. about a problem transcriptions and translations. So I should take the last one from this list that is so the descriptions in the Webinars, to respect the classary of transcriptions. Yes, first of all, I guess so. the practice of theory transcriptions, both for live or for on-demand video. So it's actually in a lot of cases about priming the tooling that you're doing to make sure that the I chose the map view, product names and my PD. Now see how. that does fit to the clustery of a awesome of the church caption. So there is that. You're looking at TwentyThree, and saying, well I want to configure my... I might want to have them but also make a list of the 12 well pro terms, norms basically all things that that the AI in the transcription might be getting worse if it's not primed the right way. And that's been the case for years. but is also available in the live transcription product Alright, we'll kick ass here on that guy. So, I... live translations handle multiple speakers in fast pace discussions, does accuracy hold up? Oh, this is it. And there is no question that the employment policy is sort of the challenges of- all of this stuff I was saying that I actually hold something really well. So it's not only about having fresh talk between different speakers, a lot of it is making sure that audio quality is pretty good. So the first that we'll hold back is uh... transcriptions and ultimately also the live translations is um people speaking really quickly It's bad audio. ...cross-talk virtual speakers, at least in Webinars,, hold up well because they usually have different... different sources. And I just got- for each live Webinars, it unlikely to turn on for me That's an option in Twitter for all kids to do either. Now, if anyone would want to just show their live transcriptions. just works in every Webinars, you might even want to say this is the baseline of the five languages I want to have be made available. And the last question from Kate here about... Damn. Hello, this is Ken. Transfers in the AdWords choose the old caption language independently of what the host sets. This will transcribe the language that the Webinars, running in, so English for this Webinars,. I will do em live translations for the language that you prefer. So it's not going to be that it's going to be in our language, it's basically going to be language that you set up based on the translation add-on TwentyThree,. It's a new feature for us, so that's cool that there are questions about this because this is something that rolled out in... in the spring here and We'll be watching Time Force. for the EA and it is something that we see a lot of use for which is really cool actually about this which comes from the US U. translations are fairly easy to record and those which you can use. ...hypogenerating... captions and spoiler alert for more of the features that we're bringing out next for optimizing zero and AI discovery Video, content. Alright, if you have any questions, let's take the first one here from Jason. That's a bit about your area and how... how that works. So the question here is... How do I approach accessibility for Video, archives? Is there an expectation? I bet you're acting like you're capturing everything. Or is it just new content coming in? The EIA in this space is actually pretty pragmatic. The whole idea is that you want to make sure that All content coming in is actually transcribed, is actually available. as closed captions and that you have all the descriptions for them. for that content. That's a core requirement. Or you can sort of come back to them. there's a period. It's not home forever so it's not going to say well that was whatever before the car left but we're never going to be looking at accessibility for that. that becomes. if you have concert F- that is heavily trafficked, I would start there. So for this behavior traffic, where do you kind of put them? on the backlog and focus a little less on that in terms of ...of making it accessible. And this is about communication and documentation and actually having a process for getting back to that. I'm not going to ask for it. a lot of them here. So the last question here is Does Video, transcript climb into metadata of the page in... The values are better on. and it kind of kills, and Video, transcript shows up, I'm going to search on my website and use it for SEO and Geo. I don't know. So yes, you can use it for search. If there's a transcript for Video,, it will be surfaced in internal search within the TrainFree platform. What's very interesting is actually but you can also use it for optimizing SEO and for optimizing basically see you soon I'm Kip. engine optimization so So the transcripts, you can basically turn all of these things on. You can automatically make sure that those transcripts are available for. for the people indexing your pages. So it's a lot more than you would expect. So a very long page in our transcript is just a dumb piece of media. there will not be cases where government will be indexing some part of that. Put Video, in a low text for those national language models to do their text magic on. So text is a crucial part and I want to say that text and and alternative text, yes it's important. for potential inclusivity or discovery of content in the place we are in now. text is very important for human consumption but for a single consumption. So having a great transcript and having that be... be part of your page is crucially important. We've been there for a while. but actually as I said before we're coming up with the update for every customer in 2030. players to have Video, pages and so on. So we're here to come on on that score. I hope you've learned at least something about accessibility. I hope you got a really good sense of of the whole basis, not just kind of the control controls that are not only by the EAA. I think the boy is in Brooklyn. they have a company that actually wants to We'll fly the flag of digital inclusivity. So I wanted to kind of make sure we told that story. and then hopefully we've gotten a few guidelines on basically, more or less, what the hell to do but how do I actually do it I hope that you've enjoyed this.
