All you need to do to start is hit the green plus button here and
then it will fire up your webcam and then of course you'll be able to
choose whether you want to add a little script for
yourself here and this is basically think of this like a
teleprompter or just notes that you'll have in front of you to read.
So you could say like remember to mention XYZ just to have something
in front of you that you might want to mention during your recording.
And then you just need to press the recording button here to
get started and then you can choose whether you want to share your
entire screen one application window or just one Chrome tab.
So I'll share my entire screen for this example.
And then now it is recording both my webcam and my screen at
the same time and then of course I could start off by reading
my notes which look pretty natural in front of me like this.
Or I can go in and show something for example some product visuals.
Or anything like that.
That I might want to show during my presentation so I
can go in and show any kind of website or anything that
you might want to show as visuals during your recording.
And then whenever you're done recording of course
you just go back and hit the stop button here.
And then we'll be presented with the editor mode inside our Personal.
And then in here we can go in and quickly
choose whether we want to start off by,
for example,
just showing our screen.
So as you can see by default.
It will always show like these.
have a side-by-side view of your webcam
recording and your screen recording so
you can go in and choose whether you
want to for example just start off by
showing your webcam only and then go in
later on and go into the side-by-side
view to show yourself and your screen
recording perhaps you cannot even go in
and also just do a full screen and then
maybe you want to end off saying goodbye
and just showing your webcam at the end
again and then now of course you have
the option if you hit the little plus
button here you have the option of
adding a video or a recording on top
of the video that you just made so you
could go in and for example add a recording of a colleague
or you could
add a recording yourself if you wanted
to do the video in two parts now
alternatively to that you could also go in and
pull up your video library and
then this would basically enable you to
for example upload pre-recorded videos
to your library beforehand
and then actually put those videos together with
the video that you just created of yourself and then thereby kind of
repurposing perhaps marketing videos or
product videos that you already have and
put them together with videos that
you just recorded of yourself using
personal so
whenever we're happy with the way the video has been edited
we hit
the Save button and then all we need
to do now is basically just design our
video landing page which is what the receiver of the video
will see so we can give it a quick
little title like video for Brian for
example add a description here
hey Brian check this out
and then now of course we can also go
here and add a call to action on the
side of the video page now this is a
great way of incentivizing people to
take some kind of action that you might
want them to do after watching your
video so you could for example add a
button with a link or anything like that
to a demo page for example or you could
just for example add your business card
to have a bit more context to who's
watching the video now the last step is
basically to add a thumbnail you could
just go with this static thumbnail if
you're happy with that but you also have
a couple different options of course you
can do the static one a gif animation or
even upload a image thumbnail that you
might already have made beforehand
now let's say you want to use a gif thumbnail
because that works very well in emails
to get people to to click on your video a
render a gif thumbnail you could choose
a gif option and then all you need to do
is just pick a couple seconds
and then you hit save and
then this will render a
gif thumbnail for your video right here
in inside of the browser here we go and
then we just say
finish video once it has rendered the gif for us and then all we
our email provider here now paste into
mail is a standard option that works for
most email providers like Gmail for
example or Outlook but if you're using
anything like HubSpot marketing or HubSpot sales of course you have a
couple different options over here I'm
going to use paste into mail because I'm
just going to be using Gmail for this
example so I can click copy link a
thumbnail
go to your Gmail your email provider and then all you need to do is
just hit
copy paste
embedded inside of your email ready to
send off to your your receiver and of
course they'll be redirected to your
landing page which you design in a very
interactive environment
