Today we are adding actions to TwentyThree Video.
For the longest time online video has been
about play and pause and very little else.
Instead of relying on what makes the
web truly great by adding interactivity,
call to actions or even asking people to respond
and become customers when they watch your video.
We are adding this new feature where you can add call to action
overlays on top of your videos to do better storytelling and even
to bring the rest of your web communication into your videos.
We call it actions.
So five seconds into the video the action appears.
It has a nice border around it when I hover the mouse over it.
And when I click it a new window opens with the URL that I specified.
We have designed the actions to make
it easy to add text or image overlays,
pre or post rolls or even advertising on top of your videos.
We've all seen amazing examples of interactive video on the web.
The problem was that this was hard to do and was
pretty expensive so it limited to a few examples.
With TwentyThree Video we're bringing this to the entire
organization by building a simple tool that everyone can use to add
actions to a single video or even to the entire archived ones.
And all of these integrate seamlessly with the
rest of TwentyThree Video and our custom players.
This means that there's no limit to your creativity.
You can add custom actions for anyone in your organization to use.
For example by building sign up forms, quizzes,
social media streams and related content.
The cool thing about this is that all of this is trackable.
It means that we measure every click on call to actions so you
know exactly what you're getting back on your marketing spend.
All of these features are available for free
in TwentyThree Video today so go check it out.
