#CPHFTW is introducing some of the hottest startups at the moment on the Danish startup scene.
This is Corti, which is building a technology to analyze conversations automatically and are using artificial intelligence to develop predictive models that lead to optimizations in organizations.
#CPHFTW is a grass root initiative to unite the startup community in Denmark. The goal is to bring the entire community together and work out ways to improve entrepreneurial ecosystem.

Next up we have Andreas from Corti. Please welcome Andreas. Andreas from Corti. Hi guys, I'm Andreas from Corti and I'm here to ask a simple question. What really makes up an organization? Is it the people working there? Is it the products you're selling? Or maybe the offices you're working from? We don't think so. What we think is that every conversation you're ever having in and around your organization is what really makes up its true identity. Every time you meet a customer, every time you talk internally, you find concepts, ideas and problems that you need to solve and they make up your organization. The problem here is the conversations are pretty complex. Last year alone, Americans made $200,000. And we had 150 billion customer calls. And studies showed that only half of them got resolved. So what went wrong? Only half. That's totally astonishing to us. The problem is that these customer service agents end up making decisions on problems they don't know. And how do you solve a problem you don't know the answer to? In most situations, we as humans use our gut feeling. And gut feeling is great for a lot of things. But when time is short and stakes are high, it's not good enough, in our opinion, to just use your gut feeling. But that's where we come in. We're an artificial intelligence startup. And we're building an expert system that listens in on conversations and help real people solve real problems live. So figure you're a customer service agent getting a call from a customer that you don't know yet but is up to do fraudulent behavior. How do you know? You've never tried it before. That's exactly the sort of situation where we come in. Our technology is built on deep learning. And it gives us the choice to find patterns and signals inside conversations that humans wouldn't find. We use these to alert people as they make decisions in live conversations and help them utilize the situation to the maximum. This is a super complex problem. We're battling against the big guys. Apple, Google, Facebook, you know them. So we need the best developers and data scientists out there.
