Every industry and every organization,
they need to put the time,
energy,
and effort in
and do the appropriate research on the audience,
the competition,
the trends,
and the media,
and where they overlap,
and really find their own strategy.
Okay?
And there's no one-size-fits-all.
Every strategy looks different.
And it's all based off of the goals.
What are they trying to accomplish?
Now,
if I move up at a real high level and talk about rules of thumb,
it's simple.
Research leads to strategy,
which defines everything you're going to do,
including promotion,
right?
It defines creative.
And measure it.
Take what you get from the measurement.
And double down on what worked.
And stop doing what didn't.
Rinse and repeat.
The point is, you have to have an audience.
You have to have a promotion strategy.
And viral is not a strategy.
