First of all guys, thank you for a great talk.
Could you just briefly introduce yourself,
your name and what you do?
My name is Alain Kirkby.
I'm the senior partner at Unity Studios.
I'm David Helgarsen.
I'm one of the founders of Unity Technologies.
Great stuff.
So you talked a lot about processes,
you know,
when working in a team and developing a game.
If you were to give one key takeaway
for the people watching your talk,
what would that be?
Just plan
things carefully,
but first of all, start doing something.
Those two, I guess.
So plan and get it done.
Yeah.
There's a lot more depth in his talk.
Yeah, true, true.
He's a grandmaster of building,
like,
element processes.
He's done it for...
A while.
But, you know,
one key takeaway is difficult when there are so many aspects to...
Exactly.
Exactly.
But it'll do, definitely.
You talked a little about VR,
you know,
where we're going in two years,
five years,
ten years.
Could we try and elaborate a little bit on what's going on now?
Because video is exploding, like, all over.
Video is everywhere.
It's in Snapchat,
it's Facebook Live,
it has sort of become,
I think,
for everyone,
right?
So why do you think that is?
Why is video now?
You mean VR video?
Video in general.
Oh, video in general.
Oh,
well,
it's just kind of most immediate of mediums.
Like,
it's something you can just point something
at something and it's sort of like it is.
You know, it's like the least...
I don't know,
it's just easy to create and easy to spread.
And for a long time,
of course,
you know,
we had kind of...
the pipes were too narrow for it and now they aren't.
So,
yeah,
no,
it's natural that video is everywhere,
of course.
And,
you know,
it will be the same with VR. I mean,
video is going to be kind of one of the main use cases of it.
Okay.
Well, thank you so much.
