Machine intelligence is advancing at such a fast rate, that we now have, for the first time, artificial intuition.
Any kind of task that a human being or human brain can do in one second or less, can now be replicated by machines at a superhuman level.
That is shaping our society in incredible new ways.
That is a really, really interesting field, and as you say, it is shaping every corner of our society.
Obviously, there are a lot of marketeers here today.
So based on your knowledge from your field, what should marketeers look out for in the next year?
What is the major challenge?
Machine intelligence is an amazing new utility that we can apply to all kinds of applications.
Marketing and commerce is one of those.
So we are increasingly going to rely on machines for making our purchasing decisions for us.
In that case, it makes sense to market to machines, in a sense, not just human beings.
So just as today we have SEO on websites to make websites easy for machines to understand the value of,
we are going to have an SEO for products soon as well, to help these commerce bots make our decisions for us.
That is going to be a very interesting challenge in the years to come.
That is very interesting. So you are basically saying we are going to have to learn to market to machines.
Wow, we have a lot of catching up to do.
So, I mean, final follow up on that one.
So what would be, if you were to set a challenge for companies who want to succeed in the next year, what would that be?
I think a lot of commerce is going to revolve around values and human values and machines,
understanding who we are as human beings and finding other human beings like us,
or finding services and products which are likely to gel with us.
I think machines understanding ethics and values is going to be key to commerce in the next five to ten years.
