Hi everyone, my name is Henrik.
I'm the CTO and co-founder of FAMILY.
So what do we do at FAMILY?
We make software for the childcare industry.
We help them with administrative tasks and
we help them with the parent communication.
So just to set the scene,
we're talking about places like daycares,
preschools,
nurseries,
kindergartens and in Danish,
Bernehaver and Bogestua.
They are our customers.
They take care of children aged 0-6 while their parents go to work.
So you might be wondering,
they have a lot of administrative tasks to do.
They need to register child attendants,
some of them record nap times.
They need to do staff planning,
taking child to staff ratio into account.
They need to do reporting for compliance reasons.
And outside Denmark they need to do invoicing of the parents as well,
so there's a lot of financial tasks that needs to be done.
Today,
many of them use paper and pen for this,
some use Excel,
and some use old software that can only handle one of these tasks.
And that's where we come in.
We made a platform for nurseries that
handle all these tasks in a single platform.
It's a very simple application,
it's simple to use,
and it's very user-friendly.
We also use,
or our app also enables them to communicate with the parents,
so they can send out text messages to the parents,
so they don't have to deliver the same practical
information to all parents every afternoon.
They can just send it out,
and everyone can read it on their phone.
We also enable them to share videos and pictures during the day,
so parents can get a greater insight
into the everyday life of their child.
So we want to make the world a better place,
one nursery at a time.
Today we have 200 settings using our platform,
spread out over Denmark,
UK and Germany,
and more are coming each month.
