Laurits Rune Nielsen | Immeo interview - Agentforce Copenhagen 2025 Salesforce

View transcript

Can you please introduce yourself? Yeah, my name is Laurits. Yeah. I work with Salesforce, of course, have been working with Salesforce for eight years. I'm with Immeo now. We specialize in data platforms, data integrations, and of course, agents on top. The whole point of agents is that if there's no good data, there's no agent. Exactly. So you're working very hands-on with two very hot topics these days, AI and data. Yeah. Yeah. Interesting times. Yeah. You can't go to any events without mentioning those two keywords. Probably not. Probably not. Exactly. So it's also been a heavy topic at the events today. We've spoken a lot about, yeah, agents, AI, so on and so forth. And there's no doubt that AI is definitely making its mark in the industry. How would you kind of recommend companies to keep that human touch when they're being so heavily influenced by AI in their markets? I think it's crucial that you remember the human aspect, as you correctly say. You need to have an agent. It needs to be transparent. So you need to know it's an agent. Don't fool customers into believing this is a human person. Because then you lose the trust of the customers. You always need to know it's an agent. You always need to be able to escalate to a human. I don't know if you've seen the website where you can barely get in touch with any person. They're hiding their contact details just to avoid service cases. I think that's the wrong approach. I think you need to be able to escalate to a human so you can get good service and you feel treated like a human being. In the end, it's about humans interacting with humans. Yeah, exactly. And I also like what you say about transparency. Yeah. Everyone respects, you know, having a understanding of the world. I'm not going to scale and increase efficiency, but just tell me who I'm talking to. Exactly. As long as I get good service, I think people, they don't mind. Yeah. Do you guys currently work with video at all in any degree? No, but I have seen some AI videos, which can be quite amazing. I haven't worked with it myself. But I've seen the chat GPT image functionality, which is slow, slow, but good. Yeah, definitely. And I think we're living in a digital world. where AI is probably going to affect every category at some point. Just totally top of mind brainstorming. Do you have any thoughts on how AI might influence the video category in the future? I'm not an expert on videos, I gotta say. I think what I fear, what I think is maybe an element we have to remember to keep is the human touch, the creativity. Because essentially AI is still only replicating what it's already seen. So original content, original ideas, I think is paramount to keep the human touch. Yeah. And not just reuse, reuse the same old stuff. Exactly. Would you personally be disappointed if you had watched a video to later find out that it was AI generated? Would you have wanted that same level of transparency as with a box? Or is it not as important in video, do you think? It depends on the video and the content, I think. If it's professional content, then it's guidance or advice. I would like transparency. If it's for entertainment, I'm not sure that I actually care. Interesting. Love that. Thank you so much for participating.
